Have you tried Grass Fed Butter Compounds?
Homemade grass fed compound butter is super easy to make and incredibly healthy and delicious. I like to use them as a spread for gluten-free toast, drizzled on vegetables, and to top grilled steaks or chicken. Below is a collection of a few of my favorites. Try them at your next gathering. To prepare compound butter, let 1 stick of Kerry Gold unsalted grass-fed butter soften at room temperature. Mix in fresh herbs and seasonings. Scoop blended butter onto the center of a piece of waxed paper. Roll into a 6-inch log, sealing the edges. Refrigerate until firm. When you’re ready to use, simply slice off as much as you need. The logs may also be frozen for future use (this is my favorite as I love having a variety of flavors on hand). To serve, melt a pat on any hot dish or allow to come to room temperature to use as a spread.

Caper Butter
- 1 stick grass fed unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoons rinsed & drained chopped capers
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon, or 2 teaspoons dried
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Curry Butter
- 1 stick grass fed unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon minced scallions
- freshly ground pepper to taste
Fresh Basil Butter
- 1 stick grass fed unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons slivered fresh basil, or 2 teaspoons dried
Fresh Lemon Butter
- 1 stick grass fed unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Garlic Cilantro Lime Butter
- 1 stick grass fed unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- freshly ground pepper to taste
Sun-Dried Tomato Butter
- 1 stick grass fed unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 ounce sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
