Fall Apple Spice Smoothie


This  fantastic smoothie is just one of 60+ recipes from my Fall Revitalize Your Thyroid Cleanse! Friends, detoxing IS NOT about deprivation in my book! My entire program is safe for those with adrenal, autoimmune, or chronic health issues; actually it’s who I designed the program for, including myself. All recipes were created by an integrative, holistic chef. I’m sharing this one with you to celebrate the arrival of autumn!

Fall Apple Spice Smoothie:
~ 1 cup coconut milk yogurt (homemade) or unsweetened coconut milk kefir
~ 1 apple, chopped (Pink Lady’s are good)
~ 1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter
~ dash of nutmeg powder
~ dash of cinnamon powder
~ dash of ground ginger (OR 1/2-inch chunk of fresh ginger)
~ for an immunity boost you may add a drop of your favorite essential oil, for example doTerra’s OnGuard, or Young Living’s Thieves works well.

Add ingredients to high speed blender and blend until smooth – add ice cubes for a shake-like texture.  Enjoy!
