We were finally able to book Dr. Nikolas Hedberg on our guest expert interview series to discuss an extremely popular topic: Hashimoto’s and underlying stealth infections.  We also took a peek at his new book (see below).

Clients often ask me about Hashimoto’s and the cause in their case and they’re often curious to know if they have an underlying infection of some sort.  They want to know how to get properly tested and what to do if the results are positive.

Not surprisingly, we actually do see a high rate of underlying and undiagnosed stealth infections (bacterial, viral, fungal) which may be a trigger for Hashimoto’s as well as the cause of progression or worsening of symptoms.
